4-24-12 MOLLY HELMUTH CLAIMED TWO TOP FIVE FINISHES AT NORCAL FOCUS MIDGET OPENER

Seattle, WA- 16 year-old Molly Helmuth made her debut in the USAC NorCal Focus Midgets with Ron Sutton’s Winner’s circle contesting a 2012 championship. Molly opened her 2012 season this past weekend at Stockton 99 Speedway with a consistent run collecting two top five finishes.

This is Helmuth’s first season in the Ron Sutton’s Winner’s Circle program, which develops drivers for a career in motorsports after an extensive application and tryout process.  Helmuth brought lots of asphalt stock car experience to the racing program for 2012.

Last Saturday night was the postponed Season opener for the 2012 USAC NorCal Focus Midget Series at Stockton 99 Speedway. After a long rainy month of March the series went into a halt for the season opener at Madera Speedway. READ MORE
